Budget AI
A personal budgeting application. It connects securely to your bank through Plaid, syncs transactions automatically, and tracks calendar-month spending against category budgets, recurring bills, and a monthly spending limit.
It also generates a written monthly summary of your spending and answers questions about it, so the numbers come with an explanation rather than just a chart.
Available on the web at budget-ai.app, with an iOS application in testing.
Security and privacy
Bank connections are established through Plaid. Account credentials are entered with your bank or with Plaid directly, and are never seen or stored by Arclynt.
Access tokens are encrypted at rest, incoming webhooks are cryptographically verified before anything acts on them, and each account's data is isolated at the database layer, reachable only by that account and anyone it has explicitly invited to share a budget.
Budget AI has read-only access to transaction history. It cannot move money, initiate payments, or transfer funds.
